Last time students were in the STEM Lab, we learned all about the parts of an egg. Today, we talked about the strength of an egg shell. Egg shells are super strong from end to end. So strong....that they will hold up a 2nd grader!!!! No eggs were harmed in this demonstration! Addison, spent the day as my Lab Assistant (thanks to the wonderful Rocky Mount Foundation auction). Students then began planning to build a helmet for their eggs. The helmet is going to protect the eggs from FALLING SCIENCE BOOKS!!!
